Violent Femmes @ Beak & Skiff 8/17/2024
The legendary punk/folk band from Milwaukee, Wisconsin, The Violent Femmes, took the stage at Beak & Skiff Apple Orchard in LaFayette, New York, for an unforgettable night featuring two full sets showcasing their remarkable albums. They kicked off the evening with their iconic 1984 release, Hallowed Ground, before diving into their self-titled debut album from 1983, performing both of these albums in all their glorious entirety from beginning to end. There was not a lot of banter in between, but some notable details include the drummer playing a BBQ grill and other members playing countless instruments. They proved that they are a passionate group of performers with an insane amount of talent!
